Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the company's founding

Sony Kibou/Hikari celebrated its 20th anniversary on April 1, 2022. It has been 20 years since our company was established as Sony Hikari Corporation, and we have taken on many challenges to create a workplace where everyone can play an active role regardless of whether they are people with disabilities or not.

The number of employees, which was 24 when the company was founded, has exceeded 180 in 2022. We have expanded our field of activities starting from office cleaning, mail collection and delivery, general affairs counter work, and office support work that support to provide Sony Group employees better working environment, and to IT / video work that supports Sony's product development. On behalf of the employees of Sony Kibou/Hikari, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the people inside and outside the Sony Group who have given us guidance and support.

In September of this year, we held a Special Symposium, an Open House, and a Workshop to commemorate our 20th anniversary. The report is available on our website. We will continue to grow by taking advantages of our diverse personalities so that we can be recognized both inside and outside the Sony Group as a company that embodies Sony's vision of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
